The finger lakes are a group of of 11 long, narrow, roughly north-south lakes, in the central new york region. there are a number of state parks in the area filled with beautiful hiking trails (and spectacular waterfalls!) that are worth checking out. us news called this region an “outdoor lover’s paradise”.
